The green Verd ie s are the tiny, but brave guardians o f the lake side . The young Verdies only b ecome guar dian s when their h air turns brown. Until then, however, life is boring. Th e youngsters with green hai r are n ot allowed to fly on w arblers, not allowed to row alone, and they' re not allowed to ride wild frogs at the rodeo. Willy Whistle's big dream is to become a guardian, but h is curiosit y alway s gets him into tr ouble . H owever, the whole lake be comes at risk when th e enemies o f the lakesi de, the G rimp s and t he swa ns, enter in to allian ce. The guardians are helpless, but Wil ly com es up with a d aring plan in o rde r to save his h ome and his t ra pped friend, Jerem iah Jump. Luckily he is no t alone, because G rand pa, the water snakes and t he frogs also come to his aid.
